RS AsphaltPlus in Vigo

The City Council of Vigo has carried out the humanization works in Marqués de Valladares street, replacing the cobblestone with asphalt agglomerate. One of the RS Tecnología teams has carried out the RS AsphatlPlus intelligent polishing system with the RS TopPlus finish in Marqués de Valladares street, transforming a pavement of asphalt agglomerate into a decorative pavement of polished asphalt.

Last Friday the mayor Abel Caballero, and the councilors Carmen Silva and Javier Pardo toured the street where the pavement reform has been carried out, on this occasion we want to highlight the words of Mr. Caballero, who stressed that the polished asphalt eliminates the noise caused by the paving, as well as vibrations and potholes, reaching a better humanization for users and inhabitants, eliminating noise and making the street more passable.

RS Technology at the Marmomac trade fair in Verona

This week is celebrated the world's leading trade fair in the stone industry Marmomac, located in Verona (Italy) being one of the main centers of the industry in the country, where we can find from the extraction of raw materials to the finished product. Marmomac is the union of the word "Marmo" which means "marble" in Italian and "mac" which refers to machinery and technology.

RS AsphaltPlus in Sestao – Bizkaia

The City Council of Sestao (Bizkaia) has rehabilitated the municipal fronton of Las Llanas, with several important actions, such as the paving with mastic asphalt and its subsequent polishing on the playing surface and circulation area. The rehabilitation works of the fronton are very important for the people of Sestaoarras that recover a meeting point among the population where it hosts sporting, social and cultural events that bring together thousands of neighbors.

One of our RS Tecnología teams carried out the intelligent polishing system with the RS AsphaltPlus system. The polished mastic asphalt is a kind of decorative pavement suitable for sports activities, but it is also ideal for all types of events that can be held in the fronton, providing safety and comfort to all users.

RS AsphaltPlus in Reinosa – Cantabria

This summer one of the teams of RS Technology performed the intelligent polishing with the RS AsphaltPlus system in Reinosa (Cantabria), transforming a cast asphalt pavement, in a decorative pavement of polished cast asphalt of high performance, achieving safety and comfort for pedestrians.

The City Council of Reinosa (Cantabria) has been using polished asphalt for some time to renew the paving of the sidewalks of the city. On this occasion, they changed the paving by replacing the stone slab with polished asphalt on Ronda Street.

In this project they used mastic asphalt, the finish of this type of asphalt is similar to the finish of asphalt agglomerate, the difference is found in the bitumen and in the paving:

RS AsphaltPlus in El Prat de Llobregat (Barcelona)

The city council of El Prat de Llobregat has remodeled the 17 de Setembre square and its surroundings, this project was carried out in collaboration with the local community surrounding the square, the commercial sector of the area and nearby schools, as well as the staff and users of the CAP 17 de Setembre. The purpose of this project was to seek a comprehensive diagnosis of the uses and needs of the square, and jointly established the design criteria for this area.

In this project we have worked together with Sorigué, who has played a fundamental role in designing and extending the asphalt agglomerate in two streets adjacent to the square, Empúries street and Lloret de Mar street.
